Hello all. My name is Tresha and I’ve recently started taking marketing classes. While I’m technically enrolled in the MBA program, I’ve decided to switch to marketing since that is where my passion lies. Although I didn’t realize it then, my interest in marketing and market research began when I was in high school working as a telemarketer. I loved taking consumers surveys (i.e. Sports Illustrated subscribers). When I moved to Cincinnati immediately after high school, I was thrilled to participate in every market research opportunity available through Procter and Gamble. Since then I have continued to participate in market research opportunities through P&G and Nielsen as well as some other regional market research companies such as L&E Research. While taking part in these studies, I have been able to witness a variety of methods of marketing research such as focus group discussions, one-to-one interviews, product testing, surveys, etc. With this blog I intend to post musings about course material and observations about present-day marketing.
